Adam Gordon, a Managing Director with StoneTurn, has more than 11 years of experience consulting with clients and counsel on commercial disputes, intellectual property infringement and intangible asset valuation for financial reporting
and tax purposes.
Adam has testified as an economic expert for the plaintiff in a breach of contract dispute in the District Court of Harris County Adam has worked with clients on the quantification of economic damages, involving breach of contract, patent infringement, copyright infringement, breach of fiduciary duty, business interruption and malpractice claims. Adam also has experience in business valuation, specializing in intangible assets value. His expertise includes the valuation of patents, trade names, domain names, customer relationships, backlog, employee contracts, workforce, and contingent consideration.
Adam has worked with clients across industries such as oil well services, exploration and production, computer (hardware and software), telecommunications, retail, real estate, engineering and construction, insurance, Internet and e-Commerce, and financial services. Prior to joining StoneTurn, Adam was a manager in the valuation and disputes practice of an international public accounting firm. In addition to his consulting roles, he is an experienced independent auditor, who has provided attest services to public and private enterprises. Adam is a Certified Valuation Analyst (“CVA”) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (“NACVA”).
