Amanda Stephens

Amanda Stephens, a Manager with StoneTurn, brings more than six years of experience in litigation and consulting services in the context of fraud investigations and business disputes.

Amanda has worked on investigations of alleged fraud including financial statement fraud, asset misappropriation, and corruption. Additionally, she has assessed the quality of financial audits performed in accordance with either PCAOB or AICPA auditing standards. Amanda has also worked on matters involving the review and evaluation of internal controls. Many of these investigative matters require forensic accounting expertise as well as sophisticated analyses of company financial records or audit workpapers. In connection with several of these matters, she has assisted counsel in presenting findings to the SEC.

In addition to her investigation experience, Amanda has calculated damages in litigation matters alleging patent and trademark infringement as well as breach of contract.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Amanda was with a mid-size, Texas-based accounting firm where she provided litigation services primarily in the context of marital dissolution where she traced, valued, and characterized assets.

Amanda is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
