Annie Cooper

Annie Cooper, a Manager with StoneTurn, brings nearly a decade of experience in financial and economic consulting related to intellectual property and business litigation matters. She specializes in engagements involving patent infringement, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference, fraud, various forms of negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty.

Over the course of her career, Annie has advised a variety of clients, including high net worth individuals, estates and trusts, real estate, public- and privately-owned businesses in business valuation, litigation support, and both federal and state tax matters. Additionally, she has provided valuation opinions for shareholder buy-outs and buy-ins, mergers and acquisitions, estate and gift tax planning, and business transition planning.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Annie worked as a Tax Manager for one of Houston’s largest local public accounting firms. In this role, she oversaw several hundred tax engagements per year while consulting business owners and lawyers on data automation, integration, and information management. Annie also performed valuation and litigation support services before managing valuation services for the firm.

Annie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Texas and accredited by the AICPA in Business Valuation (ABV). In 2020, she received the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Standing Ovation award, which recognizes the contributions of rising CPAs in their areas of accounting specialty and in their communities.
