H.E. Frech, III (Ted Frech) is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. With more than four decades of experience in economics, Ted provides expert testimony on issues related to liability and damages arising in complex commercial litigation.  Ted has been a visiting or adjunct professor at Harvard University, University of Chicago, the Naval Postgraduate School, Curtin University in Australia and Sciences Politique in Paris.

Ted has also testified on regulation and policy matters before federal and state courts and regulatory bodies, state legislatures, and the U.S. Senate on matters such as regulation, unfair competition, and antitrust. He has worked with clients across various industries, including health care and health insurance, aviation, electronics, sports fields, and real estate.

Ted Frech has published books and articles on industrial organization, health economics, and more, and has lectured in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. He is the North American Editor of the International Journal of the Economics of Business and is a member of the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Health Economics and Management, Health Economics Review and Regulation.
