Matt Davis

Matt Davis, a Manager with StoneTurn, has nearly a decade of experience in consulting services pertaining to business disputes, intellectual property litigation, business valuation, and fraud examination.

Matt has assisted clients on a variety of litigation matters involving fraud, theft of trade secrets, patent infringement, trademark infringement, false advertising, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract, among others.  In connection with such engagements, Matt has performed analyses to quantify economic damages including lost profits, unjust enrichment, reasonable royalties, and diminution of business value.  Additionally, Matt has been engaged on several consulting matters regarding client product commercialization and viability.  Matt’s experience spans a variety of industries including financial services, telecommunications, energy, technology, manufacturing, consumer products, entertainment, and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Matt was with a mid-size, Texas-based accounting firm where he provided consulting services primarily in the context of intellectual property litigation, fraud examination, and business disputes.

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and a Certified Fraud Examiner.  Further, Matt is an active member within the Texas Society of CPAs’ Houston Chapter, and has participated as a guest lecturer on economic damages relating to intellectual property at the University of Houston Law Center.
