Annie Budra, a Manager with StoneTurn, has over seven years of experience in compliance, monitoring, and auditing.

Annie’s experience includes conducting comprehensive risk assessments for corporate internal control programs, as well as testing the design and effectiveness of processes and controls. She specializes in identifying deficiencies within compliance programs and advising clients on how to remediate and enhance controls to further prevent and detect fraud. She also has experience conducting reviews of supervisory frameworks and non-compliance frameworks, as well as ethics and compliance training and company culture. Additionally, Annie has experience conducting financial accounting investigations, specifically related to claims of asset misappropriation. Annie has worked across a variety of industries, including healthcare, higher education, retail, and financial services.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Annie was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she most recently served as a Manager within the Assurance practice. In this role, she managed the execution of financial statement and regulatory audits for both public and private companies, as well as academic institutions, ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and regulatory requirements.

Annie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
