Kat Nolan, leverages seven years of forensic accounting experience to advise companies and their counsel on complex accounting, financial, valuation, and compliance matters.

Kat assists counsel and clients in assessing complex commercial disputes, including insurance claims and post-acquisition matters, and performing complex forensic accounting investigations, including assessing accounting disclosures and the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). When Kat was seconded to StoneTurn’s London office, she supported experts appointed in commercial litigation by evaluating and quantifying damages arising from contractual disputes, business interruption claims, and other matters.

Kat also has extensive experience assisting companies, government agencies, and regulators in assessing compliance programs and internal controls, and advising companies on remediation and enhancements to strengthen compliance programs to help prevent and detect fraud and ethical misconduct. She has worked with both domestic and international clients and has experience across a range of industries, including financial services, waste management, and consumer business.

Kat is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of New York, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
