June 6, 2011 – ORLANDO, FL – Brad Wilson and Chris Hoyle, professionals in StoneTurn Group’s Boston office, presented on “Recent Frauds and How to Avoid Them” at the Institute of Management Accountants’ 92nd Annual Conference and Exposition. In addition to discussing trends in both financial statement fraud and asset misappropriation schemes, Brad and Chris spoke about several examples of fraudulent conduct including how the fraud was carried out and discovered as well as how internal controls failed to prevent or detect the fraud.
