
Ray Manna, a Partner with StoneTurn, has more than 25 years of experience in solving complex investigations and cybersecurity matters. Specifically, he focuses on mitigating the risk of cyber related incidents through various pro-active prevention assessments and detecting, investigating, and remediating corporations from all types of cybersecurity incidents. As an experienced investigator, Ray manages and executes on all cyber related investigations as well as complex white collar corporate investigations. He also serves as an expert witness.
Working with leading corporations and their legal firms, Ray leads all types of cyber related investigations including intrusions into corporate networks, ransomware root-cause analysis and restoration, theft of intellectual property, email compromise, fraud, employee matters, and due diligence for acquisitions. He also assesses corporate risk and provides mitigating measures to decrease a company’s cybersecurity risk. Ray advises legal firms and their clients on a wide range of corporate investigative work as well as regulatory requirements. This investigative work and his expert opinions are used in internal corporate matters, corporate litigation, and compliance with law enforcement.
Ray Manna has worked with clients across various industries, including health care, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, financial services, retail and consumer goods, technology, transportation, and state/local governments.
Prior to joining StoneTurn, Ray Manna was with a leading cybersecurity firm, where he served as an Associate Managing Director leading large engagements in all types of cyber related matters. Previously, Ray led the FBI’s Philadelphia Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory capping a 20-year career with the FBI where he supervised and conducted cyber investigative work and forensic technology support for a wide-range of investigations. While in the FBI, he also investigated complex public corruption matters, financial matters, and violent crimes for many years. He is exceptionally skilled in conducting interviews, developing evidence, and supervising teams to conduct extensive investigative and compliance reviews. Ray joined the FBI after 10 years as a U.S. Army officer, serving as a troop commander at various levels as well as in diverse staff positions including Aide-de-Camp to a Commanding General.
Ray received the FBI Director’s High Impact Leadership Award as well as the FBI Medal for Meritorious Achievement for Heroism during his service with the FBI. He also holds numerous cybersecurity and forensic analysis national certifications. Ray also is a frequent presenter to large groups of attorneys and cybersecurity professionals.
