Q: Every day, StoneTurn professionals help clients untangle complex problems. Can you give us an example of a great client challenge you faced and how you successfully solved it?
As a data analytics professional, I am responsible for synthesizing data of all shapes and sizes into information that our professionals can use to help our clients. In one case, for example, our forensic accounting team was called upon to identify all possible cases of fraud that a client’s employee may have engaged in at the company over the course of a decade. By partnering with the client’s IT professionals, we were able to cull the relevant data from tens of millions of records and to identify instances of potential fraud.
Q: StoneTurn is known for being collaborative. Describe for us how the firm is able to work so seamlessly with clients and as colleagues.
StoneTurn’s focus on maintaining a collaborative environment is what sets it apart in the world of client services. Whether I am working with new professionals or the most senior Partners in the firm, I know my role on a given project is no greater or less than the role of anyone else on the team. Our collegial approach lets our clients know they can rely on any and all of us to get things done.
Q: Clients say they look to StoneTurn to be a trusted adviser. Can you describe how we serve in that role?
StoneTurn professionals are genuinely concerned with serving the needs of our clients; however, we are not a rubber stamp. When we uncover information that will likely be unpalatable to our clients, we work to confirm the veracity of the information, convey it in the most useful possible way, and provide options to remedy the issue whenever possible.
