Camila Rombaldi, a Director with StoneTurn, has significant experience in external audit, mitigating fraud risks, and compliance and monitoring. Specifically, she has worked with clients to design, implement and test internal controls, conduct risk assessments, and develop remediation programs.
Camila has worked with clients across various industries, including internet services, technology, and telecommunications. In recent years, she has focused on working with e-payments and e-commerce companies.
Camila spent the majority of her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers Brazil, where she was an Audit Senior Manager. In this role, Camila designed audit work programs to mitigate fraud risks; assisted companies in the implementation, classification, design and testing of effectiveness of internal controls; conducted risk assessments; and prepared internal controls reports with recommendations for improvement. She also assisted clients with remediation plans, which involved working extensively with companies subject to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), as well as with listed companies in Brazil subject to the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM). She has reviewed financial statements in accordance with both Brazilian accounting standards (BR GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP), as well as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Additionally, Camila has attended training on various antifraud programs, including combatting corruption, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and antitrust.
