Jonathon Kellerman, a Partner with StoneTurn, brings over 25 years of experience in compliance strategy, program development and execution; controls design; operational excellence; risk assessment and mitigation; complex investigations; and negotiating and managing government settlements. A former Global Chief Compliance Officer in the heavily regulated pharmaceuticals industry, Jonathon draws on his in-house career, as well as 20 years as a trusted adviser, to counsel executives and Board members on evolving compliance risk and to help clients design innovative, data-enabled, and business-friendly compliance solutions to proactively and reactively manage risk.

Jonathon has deep experience pioneering technology and data-driven compliance solution innovation, operational improvement and business protection/enablement in the pharmaceutical, life sciences and healthcare industries, including in his prior role as Global Chief Compliance Officer of Allergan. At Allergan, he was responsible for the company Code of Conduct and all related corporate policies and standards, as well as all compliance and risk management programs related to Healthcare compliance, the False Claims Act, Anti-bribery/Anti-corruption (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, etc.), global privacy and global spend transparency.

During his tenure at Allergan, Jonathon drove the development of a novel data analytics and compliance monitoring platform that shifted the risk paradigm from managing risk to being more predictive about risk, allowing for a more targeted and risk-based approach to business decision-making. As an industry executive, Jonathon was responsible for the resolution of two company corporate integrity agreements with the Office of Inspector General and led multiple, multi-jurisdictional investigations into bribery and kickback claims, financial fraud claims, pricing schemes and promotional messaging claims, and privacy and security violation claims. Jonathon also led multiple corporate operational excellence initiatives, including the company’s digital transformation designed to enable novel customer and consumer engagement, to streamline and simplify operations, maximize impact and performance, enable stronger customer engagement and revenue generation and anticipate and manage risk.

Prior to joining Allergan’s executive leadership team, Jonathon assisted clients with negotiating corporate integrity agreements and other settlements, built and implemented cutting edge compliance programs and solutions, served as a compliance expert, advised boards of directors on corporate governance and emerging risk, designed and implemented industry-leading due diligence procedures, and supported mergers and acquisitions in the life sciences space in his role as a founder and co-lead of PwC’s Global Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences compliance practice.

Throughout his significant tenure in professional services, Jonathon led high-profile engagements involving global ABAC program assessment, design and implementation. He has also helped clients with implementing effective global compliance programs, managing fraud investigations and remediation activities, re-engineering processes supporting key commercial and R&D business activities and compliance controls, and re-designing how companies engage healthcare professionals.
