StoneTurn Manager John Olzer

John Olzer, a Manager at StoneTurn, has more than five years of experience in forensic accounting investigations, litigation advisory, and auditing.

John has worked with clients involved in a range of complex matters including forensic accounting and audit investigations, consultations, and legal disputes. His experience has involved the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal and state prosecutors.

John’s investigative experience includes supporting plaintiff and defense-side investigations into financial reporting issues involving the application of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and disclosures. He has assisted counsel in defending public companies and officers in connection with SEC enforcement litigation as well as audit firms in connection with alleged violations of PCAOB or generally accepted auditing standards.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, John was an auditor at a Big Four accounting firm with a focus on public and private company audits across various industries including private equity and real estate.

John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is licensed in the state of Virginia.
