Erica Farrell, a Manager with StoneTurn, brings over seven years of experience in compliance and monitoring, auditing, investigations, and forensic accounting to assist companies, counsel, and regulators on complex financial and compliance matters across industries.

Erica’s experience includes preparing and reviewing expert reports; serving as a CFIUS-appointed auditor and Team Telecom-appointed assessor; researching accounting guidance and identifying appropriate accounting treatments for a variety of intricate issues; analyzing accounting records and data for trends and anomalies; and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of global compliance programs and internal controls. She has contributed to multiple compliance engagements by evaluating aspects of companies’ global compliance management systems, including policies and procedures, program oversight, training and certification, and monitoring and testing, and by advising companies on recommendations and enhancements to strengthen their ability to prevent and detect fraud through their compliance programs.

Currently, Erica supports three teams serving as Consultant to the Monitoring Trustee as part of multi-year monitorships mandated by the U.S. Department of Justice. She also serves on a team appointed by Team Telecom to complete an independent assessment of a global telecommunications company’s initial deliverables under its National Security Agreement.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Erica was part of the Audit practice of a global public accounting firm, where she led and performed financial statement audits of privately held manufacturing and not-for-profit companies.

Erica is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in Illinois).
