Alexander Schnier, StoneTurn Manager

Alexander Schnier, a Manager with StoneTurn, has experience in compliance and monitoring, forensic accounting and investigations.

Alexander has worked on StoneTurn’s largest and most complex monitorship engagements, including supporting the DOJ-appointed Independent Compliance and Business Ethics Monitorship of a global investment bank. He is currently on the team supporting the Monitoring Trustee, appointed by the DOJ, in his role related to the oversight of compliance with obligations within a Stipulation and Order and Final Judgment related to the merger of two leading wireless telecommunications service providers. Specifically, Alexander is responsible for analyzing large data sets and drafting reports for the DOJ.

Alexander has extensive experience assisting companies, government agencies, and regulators with assessing compliance programs and internal controls, and advising companies on how to remediate and enhance compliance programs to help prevent and detect fraud and ethical misconduct. His experience extends across numerous industries including consumer products, financial services, real estate, telecommunications, manufacturing, food, and cannabis.

Recently, Alexander has managed the StoneTurn team which provides investigative support to the Court-appointed independent Monitor of a large labor union. In this role, he is responsible for conducting interviews with key personnel, developing investigative strategies, and overseeing various workstreams. He also has experience conducting asset tracing investigations and supports StoneTurn’s Forensic Technology practice.

Alexander is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
