Toby Ralston, a Managing Director with StoneTurn, has more than seven years of experience assisting clients and counsel in complex business litigation, forensic accounting, regulatory monitoring, boards of directors investigations and intellectual property matters. He has worked with clients on a wide-range of economic analyses, including lost profits, asset misappropriation, cost/benefit evaluation, audit malpractice and business valuation.
Toby has extensive experience in the area of dispute resolution, including pre-litigation consulting, preparation of expert reports and other disclosures and expert witness trial preparation. He focuses on the calculation of financial and economic damages through the analysis of financial, accounting, economic and market data.
Over the past five years, Toby has gained extensive experience in the regulatory arena, assisting with Monitorships and Receiverships, in both the mortgage and telecom industries. Toby has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including finance, telecom, retail, e-Commerce, non-profit and insurance.
Prior to joining StoneTurn, Toby was a complex business litigation consultant for two large public accounting firms, where his projects included lost profit analyses and business valuations.
Toby is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Massachusetts and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
In 2013, Toby was selected as one of 36 CPAs from across the U.S. to serve in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Leadership Academy. The program, which connects senior members of the AICPA with young CPA leaders, strives to create an open dialogue about the future of the accounting profession.
