Previously, Jonny was the Executive Deputy Monitor to Volkswagen, the Independent Remediation Consultant to a Nordic Bank. the SEC-approved ethics and compliance adviser to the Independent Consultant of a Big 4 public accounting firm, the SEC-approved Independent Consultant to a Big Three credit rating agency, Forensic Adviser to the Independent Compliance Monitor of one of the world’s largest institutional alternative asset managers, the NYS Department of Financial Services (NYDFS)-appointed Independent Compliance Monitor to the nation’s largest non-bank mortgage servicer, and the DOJ-appointed Independent Consultant to a $2.5 trillion investment bank.

Prior to joining StoneTurn in 2011, Jonny served as a PwC partner and assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

Brad joined StoneTurn in 2004 and was admitted to the Partnership in 2015. Throughout his tenure, he has helped lead and nurture the firm’s strategy and culture. Mike Roos Named Global Leader in Consulting by Consulting Magazine

A key cog in StoneTurn’s global projects, Mike has become known for the quality of his work and delivery of excellence both for StoneTurn’s global and Africa-based projects – with clients repeatedly issuing high praise for his ability to lead global teams and prepare “to the point” feedback to regulators.

A chartered accountant by training and a seasoned forensic expert molded by time spent at the two of the Big Four accounting firms, StoneTurn tapped Mike in 2018 to open its Johannesburg office, StoneTurn’s first on the African continent. Mike was instrumental in assembling a highly skilled team that supported the firm with international client projects while also leading local engagements in Africa.

Neil Ashton and David Stern, two of StoneTurn’s London-based Partners, have again been named as top expert witnesses by Who’s Who Legal (WWL) Arbitration 2022.

Since 1996, Who’s Who Legal has identified the industry’s foremost practitioners based upon comprehensive, independent, global survey work. The 2022 research process reflects consultation with more than 50,000 lawyers, consultants and in-house counsel to gain an accurate picture of the legal market. Hundreds of thousands of votes and recommendations were analyzed from clients and peers to select the recommended practitioners.

Who’s Who Legal respondents commented on David that “He is the ultimate professional with a rare mix of hard work and strong testifying skills” “He is detail orientated, an innovative thinker” and “I have great respect for him.”  David has over 25 years’ experience acting as an expert in forensic accounting investigations and complex business litigation.
