About Alan Ratliff
With more than 30 years of experience, Alan was StoneTurn’s first lateral Partner and opened the Houston office 20 years ago, He advises attorneys and their clients on the economics, accounting, and valuation issues in disputes and investigations, as well as in various transactions including the valuation, commercialization, and licensing of intellectual assets and businesses. He has been recognized as a Highly Recommended Damages Expert by IAM’s Patent1000 since the listing’s inception and is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated Preeminent Attorney. In addition to his client engagements, Alan actively engages in the firm’s mentorship of rising professionals, is the partner representative on the Community Impact ERG, and serves as StoneTurn’s Risk partner and on the ESG Committee. In greater Houston, Alan is active in the community having chaired five non-profit organization boards associated with youth education and mentoring causes, animal rescue, and as a two-term President of the Bar Association for the Southern District of Texas. Alan has twice been recognized by the Mayor and City Council of Houston with a day in his honor for community service and received Volunteer Houston’s Youth Services award.
