Houston Partner, Alan Ratliff, spoke to attorneys at Orrice, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP about Texas’ passage of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, passed on May 3, 2013. The law, which Alan believes will provide greater specificity about what trade secrets are and will provide greater protection, is expected to take effect on September 1.
