Victoria Middleton, Director with StoneTurn, brings nearly 20 years of experience in forensic acocunting to client engagements. A Fellow of  the ICAEW, she specialises in providing expert advisory and expert witness services.

Victoria’s practice focuses on contentious valuation, commercial litigation, international arbitration, and insurance claims. She has prepared CPR 35 expert reports for the court and her experience includes:

  • Valuation of businesses for legal disputes including breach of warranty claims, unfair prejudice petitions and W&I insurance claims.
  • Quantification of losses including loss of profits, wasted costs and business interruption claims.
  • Accounting investigations, asset tracing, and financial reviews.

Victoria’s sector experience includes IT service and software; hospitality, leisure, and entertainment; telecommunications; manufacturing; oil and gas; professional services; aviation; and retail, among others.

Victoria trained in the audit department at a Big Four accounting firm in London and upon qualification transferred to the forensic team. Following her time there, she spent several years working as an in-house forensic accountant and expert quantum advisor at two leading UK law firms, working alongside commercial litigators providing damages quantification, quantum strategy advice, and negotiation support. Prior to joining StoneTurn, she worked in Baker Tilly’s Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services practice.
