Marc Padilla has more than 15 years of experience in consulting and cybersecurity. Specifically, he focuses on digital forensics, incident response, and cyber investigations.
Working with organizations across diverse industries, Marc has led strategic cyber investigations that address complex threats, regulatory scrutiny, and evolving client needs. By analyzing data and challenging facts with expertise, he uncovers root causes, risk to data, delivers actionable findings, and provides accurate reporting and communications throughout the course of an investigation. He is often called upon by clients to assist with matters in rapid incident response, threat intelligence and detection, insider threat, and complex cyber investigations.
Prior to joining StoneTurn, Marc managed global cybersecurity engagements at Google as a Principal Incident Response Consultant for Mandiant and Google Gloud. Additionally, Marc has experience in information technology consulting and digital forensics to support criminal defense and private investigation matters.
Marc received his Master of Science from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. He holds several industry certifications, including International Information System Security Certification Consortium (“ISC2”) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (“CISSP”), Global Information Assurance Certification (“GIAC”) Certified Forensic Analyst (“GCFA”), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (“GCIH”), GIAC Certified Network Forensic Analyst (“GNFA”), GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (“GCTI”), GIAC Information Security Professional (“GISP”), GIAC Penetration Tester (“GPEN”), GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (“GREM”), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (“GSEC”), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA SecurityX, CompTIA PenTest+, and CompTIA CySA+.
