Mairea Workman, a Managing Director with StoneTurn, has more than 12 years of experience in due diligence and investigations.

Mairea brings significant expertise with a wide array of proprietary databases and research tools used to conduct in-depth due diligence on individuals and entities. She has extensive experience performing research of public records, news sources, regulatory and corporate records, and court documents, with special attention to adverse media, sanctions, and litigation. At StoneTurn, Mairea has conducted numerous due diligence reviews, asset-tracing, and litigation support investigations. For the past two years, she has managed a team providing investigative support to the monitor of a large labor union.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Mairea managed the operations of the investigative research team at First Advantage, where she began her career. As an investigator and editor, she developed in-depth background due diligence reports for prospective employers and institutional investors. Mairea also worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that reports met various quality and compliance standards.
