Jeffrey Hunt Ph.D. StoneTurn Manager

Jeffrey Hunt, a Manager with StoneTurn, leverages nearly 15 years of public and private sector experience to support clients through complex litigation and dispute resolution.

As an economist and professional statistician with a doctorate degree in applied economics, Jeff specializes in integrating modern statistical techniques into cases involving complex, often unstructured, healthcare and medical claims data.

Jeff earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park. His academic research experience concerned the optimal timing of exercising energy drilling options in the face of the possible revocation of the right to drill. He was instructor of record for an undergraduate economics class.

Before joining StoneTurn, Jeff worked as a mathematical statistician in the Methodology Division of the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), the statistics agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). His primary role was to use mathematical algorithms to account for missing data due to nonresponse or partial response.
