Bill Kearns, a Senior Adviser with StoneTurn, has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations. Specifically, he focuses on the duties of the office of the Chief Financial Officer.

As a practitioner for the last 14 years, Bill has worked across various industries including real estate, hospitality, technology, airlines, manufacturing and financial services.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Bill was with Reside Worldwide, a leader in alternative accommodations, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. In that role, Bill restructured the company’s financials to meet the new private equity firms’ expectations. Bill also de-levered the company’s lease exposure risk and pivoted into property management through financial modeling and supporting contract negotiations. Additionally, he retired term debt, while moving the company to an asset-based lending line of credit that better matched the seasonality of cash flows.

Previously, he was with Zipwhip, the leading software provider for non-mobile phone texting, where he served as the VP of Finance. There, he built the company’s finance, human resources, and legal teams, while also raising two rounds of venture capital equity financing.
