Issue:
The Capital Projects department of a Nevada public school district engaged StoneTurn to provide an assessment of the current organizational structure and delivery methods to position teams for success as projects transition from greenfield to modernization, large maintenance, and replacement projects and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of project delivery activities, including the enhancement of organizational structure, processes, and technology.
Solution:
StoneTurn assessed project delivery methods and provided recommendations to best align existing resource capabilities with current future project delivery methods while addressing resource skill gaps. Strategic sessions and workshops were also conducted to review assessment outcomes and ensure recommendations were “right-sized” for implementation and high-value outcomes.
Results:
StoneTurn delivered a comprehensive report detailing observations and discrete recommendations for the Capital Projects department to implement. The prioritization of recommendations was delivered via an implementation roadmap which were executed by internal resources from the Capital Projects department.
