StoneTurn, a leading global advisory firm, announced today that David A. Holley has joined the firm as a Partner in the Boston office.
David brings more than 30 years of investigative and risk consulting experience, with a proven track-record of managing high-stakes internal and cross-border investigations. He is an expert at navigating and mitigating the business and legal challenges posed by doing business in high-risk jurisdictions and industries, and frequently serves as a trusted advisor to corporations, law firms, audit committees, special committees of boards of directors and their counsel.
“Growing our investigations practice requires identifying the right people to strengthen our existing best-in-class team and capabilities, and bringing Dave does just that,” said Brad Wilson, Managing Partner and CEO. “Dave has built a successful track record and respected reputation in the market for digging deeper and uncovering actionable insights for organizations around the world. We look forward to working with him to drive our practice forward.”
Over the course of his career, David has led investigations and risk management engagements across a broad spectrum of topics, including: regulatory investigations, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and anti-corruption investigations; Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and sanctions compliance investigations and consulting; internal investigations involving fraud, including those involving insider threats and third-party malfeasance; proxy contests and corporate control investigations and advice; reputational due diligence; identification of potentially responsible parties in environmental contamination matters; and corporate governance and integrity advisory. He has also served as an independent third-party auditor in connection with National Security Agreements issued under the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
“I am excited to join the team at StoneTurn, an organization that truly embodies what it means to be a leading global investigations practice,” said David Holley. “Being able to work seamlessly with teams around the globe and harness the power of combining human expertise, data analytics, and emerging technologies will allow us to truly move the needle for our clients. I am thrilled to be part of this exciting time in the firm’s history.”
Prior to StoneTurn, David held leadership positions at two risk consultancies and headed the Boston office of a global consulting and risk mitigation firm for fifteen years. Early in his career, David worked with the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Environmental Enforcement Section where he conducted investigations into some of the United States’ most contaminated hazardous waste sites.
