Growing Advisory Firm Further Expands Global Footprint With the Launch of a Third Office in Texas
StoneTurn, a global advisory firm that assists companies, their counsel and government agencies on regulatory, risk and compliance issues, investigations, and business disputes, today announced the opening of a new office in Texas with the addition of Jeffrey Matthews as a Partner in Dallas.
A well-recognized financial expert, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Public Accountant and FINRA Arbitrator, Jeff brings more than 20 years of experience in financial investigations, forensic accounting and litigation support. He serves as an expert in corruption and white-collar criminal cases, as well as multi-jurisdictional business disputes, and testifies in multiple civil and criminal matters at the state and federal levels. Jeff is a faculty member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and is the past president of the Dallas chapter. He also developed curriculum and currently teaches forensic accounting at the University of Texas, Arlington. Jeff joins Texas-based StoneTurn colleagues in Austin and Houston.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Jeff led the Forensic and Litigation practice of a Texas-based, nationally-oriented accounting firm. He is a frequent lecturer and brings significant expertise in issues related to the Lanham Act, Sarbanes-Oxley, the False Claims Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Jeff’s clients have included the nation’s top law firms, Fortune 100 legal departments and government investigative agencies. He was the 2013 Certified Fraud Examiner of the Year and has been recognized for his client service, professional collaboration and thought leadership throughout his career.
