StoneTurn is proud to share Partner David A. Holley, J.D. has been appointed to the Rhode Island Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) by Governor Dan McKee. David was nominated by Senate Minority Leader Jessica de la Cruz, the Rhode Island State Senator representing District 23.
The JNC is responsible for identifying and recommending highly qualified candidates to fill vacancies on Rhode Island’s courts. The Commission reviews applications, conducts interviews and diligence, and submits a list of finalists to the Governor for consideration. Established in 1994, the nine-member volunteer Commission is composed of nine Rhode Island residents appointed by the Governor and legislative leaders.
