Kristofer Buchan, a Managing Director with StoneTurn, has more than 14 years of experience in intellectual property litigation including patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret litigation; antitrust and competition; pricing strategy; breach of contract matters; damages; business valuations; and class certifications.
Specifically, he focuses on lost profits analyses, royalty analyses, transfer pricing, expert opinions and liability analyses. Working with corporate clients and their advisers, he has opined on damages resulting from breach of fiduciary duty and led engagements related to intellectual property matters, including trademark valuation and economic damages.
Kris has worked with clients across various industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy and environment, telecommunications, computer hardware, consumer products and hospitality.
Prior to joining StoneTurn, Kris was with Charles River Associates, where he served as an Associate Principal and Consulting Associate. He is also an Executive Professor in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
Kris is a member of the American Bar Association (“ABA”) and the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association (“HIPLA”). He co-authored an article on innovation markets for the ABA’s Antitrust Healthcare Chronicle.
