Melanie brings nearly 30 years of communications, marketing and program management experience, including roles at multinational corporations and global advisory firms. She has led global internal communications for an industrial gases supplier with over 20,000 employees, overseen worldwide PR and executive communications efforts for the leading manufacturer of elevators and escalators, and was responsible for corporate, consumer and Board communications at a publicly traded retail energy supplier.
At StoneTurn, Melanie helped to secure the firm’s first-ever ranking in Vault’s Top 50 Consulting Firms in North America, with high marks for culture, work-life balance and employee satisfaction. She also helped develop, build and launch a highly successful Intranet during the pandemic, shaping a content strategy and supporting communications plan that consistently delivers above-benchmark metrics.
A graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Melanie began her career as an advertising copywriter. She has scripted radio and television commercials and corporate videos, ghost-written thought leadership on complex subject matter, drafted executive speeches and presentations and championed the use of social media since the first YouTube video reached 1 billion views in 2012.
