When a client engages StoneTurn for assistance with a problem, we engross ourselves in the work in order to deliver the results that we expect from ourselves and that clients expect from us. By gaining such deep knowledge of the client and the matter at hand, we strive to become experts. It is not uncommon for clients to recognize this and, subsequently, ask more of us. The frequency with which clients return for assistance with additional matters is evidence that we do not take our role as trusted adviser lightly; we value the trust our clients place in us and we work hard to earn it.

Q: StoneTurn is known for being collaborative. Describe for us how the firm is able to work so seamlessly with clients and as colleagues.

StoneTurn’s collaboration is a direct result of its genuine interest in people. While our professionals have expertise in specific areas, there is a conscious lack of delineation within the firm. We find the best way to serve our clients is with a combination of deeply targeted experience and open-mindedness to seek alternative solutions from across our collaborative team.

Q: Clients also give StoneTurn high marks for being extremely responsive. Can you tell us about a time when you saw this in action?

A law firm representing an insurance company engaged StoneTurn to serve as a damages expert. Aside from performing our required work, an executive at the company approached us with almost daily requests for urgent and complex damages analyses. We understood that the client viewed us as a trusted adviser, so we were happy to fulfill these requests. The law firm that engaged us was grateful for our responsiveness and for going above and beyond for the client.
