Andrew Platt, a Manager with StoneTurn, specializes in compliance and monitoring, investigations and forensic accounting. He is highly proficient in the assessment of corporate compliance programs and internal controls, as well as conducting and coordinating corporate investigations.

Andrew has deep expertise in advising companies on how to remediate and enhance existing compliance programs to prevent and detect fraud. Most recently, he served on a team of forensic advisers to the DOJ-appointed Independent Compliance Monitor and Auditor of a Fortune 10 automaker. In this role, Andrew worked alongside a group of experts to assess the company’s compliance with the terms of a criminal plea agreement and civil consent decree and review its antifraud, ethics and compliance programs. Prior to this engagement, Andrew served on a team appointed by the New York Department of Financial Services as a Compliance Monitor of a mortgage servicing company.

Andrew has also assisted companies in responding to allegations, including SEC inquires and confidential forensic accounting investigations involving revenue recognition, assessment of accounting policies and procedures, and reporting on past misconduct. Additionally, he has led the analysis of fraudulent management expenses in the private equity industry.

During his career, Andrew has successfully collaborated with clients across the financial services sector, as well as the automotive, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries.
