Sarah Keeling

Sarah Keeling, a StoneTurn Board Member and Partner, is a former senior British government official with more than three decades of experience in national security and geopolitical risk issues globally. She assists the Boards of corporates, family offices, PE firms and alternative asset funds, and their counsel on strategies for managing operational, reputational and investment risk, and security matters worldwide.

Sarah brings significant expertise in conducting complex, multi-jurisdictional anti-bribery and corruption investigations, asset tracing and recovery. She provides litigation support for international arbitration and disputes revolving around political, regulatory or integrity issues.  Sarah also provides strategic advice to private clients on fixated threat, extortion and defamation matters where both the security and reputation of the client is at risk.

Sarah has served as a trusted adviser to Board-level clients on their strategies in the Middle East, Iran and Sub-Saharan Africa in Russian and FSU. She advises clients in the infrastructure, energy, pharmaceuticals, financial services and technology sectors on entering or operating in high-risk emerging markets and specialises in terrorist financing, piracy and maritime security issues.

Prior to StoneTurn, she built and led a new EMEA Global Risk and Investigations practice at FTI and led the investigations and strategic intelligence EMEA practice at BRG. In her previous leadership roles within government, Sarah was a Managing Director of Aegis Defence Services where she acted as the Senior Advisor for Lloyds of London on Piracy and chaired the Risk & Security Management Forum.
