Global Advisory Firm Expands Data Science and Analytics Capabilities to Offer Corporate Clients Strategic Insights Focused on Top-Line Growth

StoneTurn, a global advisory firm, today announced that Paresh Chiney, an expert in the application of data science to deliver business value, has joined as a Partner based in San Francisco. Paresh brings nearly two decades of executive client service experience—particularly in the consumer finance, technology and retail industries—and helps organizations uncover meaningful, data-based insights into sales and profitability, customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

At StoneTurn, Paresh will work primarily with the C-suite and functional leadership to develop precision-marketing models focused on customer acquisition and retention; fully automated operational workflows and anomaly detection tools; dynamic KPI dashboards; revenue leakage prevention and cost optimization solutions and to build high-caliber analytics centers of excellence. He will also enhance the firm’s current compliance-focused data analytics and forensic technology capabilities, working with General Counsels and Chief Compliance Officers to provide data-driven insights into risk and anomalies.

Prior to joining StoneTurn, Paresh was the Director of Client Services at LatentView Analytics, where he managed the largest segment of the business serving major technology and banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) clients. There, Paresh helped to create fully automated workflows for one of the world’s largest tech companies, including order-to-cash analytics models, anomaly detection tools and dashboards. He also oversaw a team providing marketing analytics services in support of an e-commerce business, solving complex issues across site analytics, assortments, NPS, fulfillment, customer service and forecasting.

Earlier in his career, Paresh served as Vice President, Enterprise Solutions, for Opera Solutions— a boutique consulting firm. He led the firm’s Consumer Lending practice, directing multiple engagements focused on analytics solutions, consulting services and product deployment across marketing, risk, compliance, operations, sourcing and procurement. Paresh began his career as a programmer at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and briefly served as a technology consultant at Oracle Corp. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
